The stage is now set for the hosting of the inaugural Zimbabwe Corporate Social Investment Conference with all the invited reputed speakers having confirmed to grace this occasion. Among them is the Barclays Bank Managing Director George Guvamatanga, The Standards Association of Zimbabwe Director General, Eve Gadzikwa, Lafarge Cement CEO, Amal Tantawi, the Swedish Ambassador to Zimbabwe, H.E Sofia Caltorp as well as Lion Finance Managing Director Lynn Mukonoweshuro including the Reserve bank of Zimbabwe.
This cast of speakers is surely going to give delegates much more than they are expecting given their varied rich backgrounds.
The conference have attracted delegates from South Africa, Asia and Europe so far and there are couple of more inquiries to be confirmed.
The one day event which is set for July 27 at the Rainbow Towers Hotel will run under the theme:-

The Corporate Social Responsibility Network Zimbabwe Executive Director Willard Razawo said he is expecting to meet with Zimbabwe Businesses andCSR Organisations to discuss ways of working together in order to make a bigger impact in the country on CSR and Responsible Business.
He hoped that making progress in the area of CSR in Zimbabwe would greatly help with progress in achieving vision 2030 of achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
“Our expected outcome of this Conference is see all CSR stakeholders agreeing to support organisations to promote CSR in a coordinated manner, and to promote a common understanding of what CSR is and how Zimbabwe as a country can benefit a move towards the attainment of Sustainable development Goals,” Razawo said.
The conference is also meant to bring together the Zimbabwean business community drawn from diffrent sectors to discuss the latest trends, models and practices in CSR, and promote a common framework for action in support of sustainable national development.
The one day conference will also have an exhibition as one of the main attractions running in tandem with the conference.
The CSRNZ Executive Director encouraged Corporate CSR practitioners to come and discuss new ideas and trends, address issues and challenges, provide new knowledge and skills, and showcase CSR success stories.
This conference is open to all companies and individuals interested in CSR, for a fee inclusive of all meals and conference materials.
